Hey there, and thanks for stopping by. My name is Michael Snyder and I do indeed write…among other things.

Those other things include playing music, helping run a small business, and trying to spend as much quality time as possible with my awesome wife and kids. But not necessarily in that order. Oh…and napping. I do lots of napping.

Most of these things will pop up from time to time on the blog. And I really do hope you’ll find something of value here. More importantly, I hope you’ll chime in and help drive the conversation.

I spent nine years earning a four-year degree in music composition and arranging. I’ve served as a manufacturer’s representative for more than a decade. I know work for an amazing manufacturer in Wisconsin. And I had the privilege of publishing a handful of novels with Harper Collins.

My plan here is to post here three or four times a week sometimes, hopefully something to stir our collective creative juices.

Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Just read your piece on EDF–well done!. Descriptions work; Sheila works; Harold works; and the last line–timeless: “…why it ever seemed to matter so much in the first place” Kudos to you!
